The best 99 cents ever spent!

The bad news for BN is that this is the most I've spent since buying my nook from them last year. I started out by downloading individual novels and novelas by Wharton, but then decided to spring for 99 cents and get the whole collection in one file. The OCR technology is much better than the (free) individual Google e-books...no un-readable mumbo-jumbo words. The only problem is that it is formatted like one 3500 page book...so you can only go to individual books and short stories from the table of contents, but not the individual chapters of the books themselves.

    A best classic buy again

It is surprising how dated and boring an author can be when compared to the one you had to read for summer reading perhaps they dont send you home with a book list of "classics" complete works for five dolllars are worth every penny

For the descriptions food clothes transportation of another era
