schopenhauer reveals to those wondering about the meaning and ultimate nature of the mysterious reality they perceive everyday that the answer to this ultimate metaphysical puzzle was within all along. READ this book to find what you've always been wanting to know and actually knew all along but needed a great thinker to open your mind.
Schopenhauer's highly speculative and controversial metaphysical view of the 'Will' as the ultimate reality of the world is not only fascinating, but is a source of innumerable insights into almost every aspect of our daily lives. Most notable is his trenchant analysis of art and aesthetic appreciation, and his ultimately pessimistic view of existence as such. Never has pessimism been so beautiful. This book really stands as the most influential book I have had the pleasure of reading.
