About the Author

Clare Stubbs was born in Kent in the 1970s. From before she can remember she was fascinated by animals, the natural world, reading about and drawing animals, and watching David Attenborough's programmes - all interests that were encouraged by her parents. She says that even now she hasn't really changed, she's just taller. It is her hope that, through the 'Tiny Clare' series, children develop a lasting curiosity for Nature that turns today's readers into tomorrow's stewards. Clare was diagnosed with Autism as an adult. The 'Tiny Clare' books are semi-autobiographical.
