Meet the Author

Michael A. Stackpole is the New York Times bestselling author of the Star Wars X-wing novels, as well as a number of other titles in the ever-expanding Star Wars universe, including the Dark Tide novels Onslaught and Ruin. When not chained to a desk madly fighting deadlines, he plays indoor soccer, rides a mountain bike, and reads, but not all at the same time. He lives in Arizona with Liz Danforth and a small pack of Welsh Cardigan Corgis.

Aaron Allston is the New York Times bestselling author of the Star Wars: Fate of the Jedi books Conviction, Outcast, and Backlash; the Star Wars: Legacy of the Force novels Betrayal, Exile, and Fury; the Star Wars: The New Jedi Order: Enemy Lines adventures Rebel Dream and Rebel Stand; novels in the popular Star Wars X-Wing series, including Mercy Kill; and the Doc Sidhe novels, which combine 1930s-style hero-pulps with Celtic myth. He is also a longtime game designer and in 2006 was inducted into the Academy of Adventure Gaming Arts & Design (AAGAD) Hall of Fame. He lives in Central Texas.

Absolutely an essential Star Wars novel series for fans of the original
trilogy, especially anything related to the starship battles. If you're
tired of reading about Jedi and other Force-users mucking up the galaxy,
then the adventures of this band of heroes, rogues, and pirates led by
ace pilot Wedge Antilles are sure to grab your interest. Chock full of
action in space and on the ground, with deep character development and
enough light-hearted moments to keep the series in an enjoyable realm of
fiction, the X-Wing novels by Stackpole and Allston capture the feeling
of Star Wars in a manner unique from most other novels of the Expanded Universe.

    The Star Wars Sratfighter Experience

The series that takes the exciting starfighter battles that we envision in our minds to life. Follow rogue squadron heralded as the bright shining sword of the new republic as they take coruscant and beyond. Witness the creation of wraith squadroon which is the vibroblade in the alley as they infiltrate Warlord Zsinj. Both squadrons are created and led by the infamous Wedge Antilles, the only man in history to survive both Death Star runs and who becomes the best starfighter pilot in the galaxy. My heart goes out to both Michael Stackpole and Aaron Allston for creating a landscape of endless imagination that I still enjoy to this day from when i read the first book over 15 years ago.

A good bargain for people building an electronic collection

A really good bargain for people building an electronic collection. Pages have a quick load speed. If you are hard on book bindings (like me) and want to preserve your collection electronic bundles like this are a good cost effective means of keeping your library intact. There are a few bad translation parts where words are wrong but otherwise perfect copies.
