Dean Takahashi is the lead writer for GamesBeat at the tech news blog VentureBeat. He has been a tech journalist for more than 20 years. He joined VentureBeat in February, 2008. Prior to that, he worked at the San Jose Mercury News, the Red Herring, the Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, the Orange County Register and the Dallas Times Herald.
