I have known about John Fahey for a long time but this is the first recording of his I have bought. It is easy to see why critics rave about him. At first I thought he was a slower Leo Kottke but as the CD continued I found that he used other musicians and sound effects to vary the texture. His work has a dignity and sadness about it that Kottke lacks (an observation, not a criticism). I plan to buy more of his CD's.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
