A former journalist who never lost his love of writing, Jim Steele is the manager of a portfolio of syndicated national credits for a regional bank based in Washington. He has hiked hundreds of miles of trails in Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks and worked in Yellowstone in the summer of 2005. He lives in Henderson, Nevada, with his wife Katie.
