Meet the Author

Shayla Black (aka Shelley Bradley) is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of over 30 sizzling contemporary, erotic, paranormal, and historical romances for multiple print, electronic, and audio publishers. She lives in Texas with her husband, munchkin, and one very spoiled cat. In her "free" time, she enjoys reality TV, reading and listening to an eclectic blend of music.

Shayla's work has been translated in about a dozen languages. She has also received or been nominated for The Passionate Plume, The Holt Medallion, Colorado Romance Writers Award of Excellence, and the National Reader's Choice Awards. RT Bookclub has twice nominated her for Best Erotic Romance of the year, as well as awarded her several Top Picks, and a KISS Hero Award. A writing risk-taker, Shayla enjoys tackling writing challenges with every book.

Jenna Jacob is married and lives in Kansas. A lover of music, cooking, camping, and riding Harleys on the open country roads. When she was thirteen she began writing-and not on a stone tablet, as her youngest son often teases. There is always a plot bubbling inside her head that has to be written.

With four grown children, she finally has time to the paint pictures of her twisted mind with words. Outgoing with a sassy sense of humor, she's never once been accused of being shy. With nearly twenty years of experience in the dynamics of the BDSM lifestyle, she strives to portray Dominance and submission with a passionate and comprehensive voice.

Isabella LaPearl was born and raised in New Zealand and living in America, Isabella LaPearl is a pseudonym for a disgustingly happy housewife and mother of three. A word painter and artist, she wrestles daily with the people who live inside her head, demanding to be spread on the pages of the tales she weaves. Then-and only then-can she find peace.

    Another cliffhanger!

The constant indecision of the main characters is annoying! I waited a year for this book to be released because the release date kept getting postponed and when it seems things are finally about to workout for Raine, Liam and Macen bam Liam gets a call from his ex-wife and the book ends. Cliffhangers suck especially if the next book is going to take another year! Not even a mention of when to expect the next book. Shayla Black is one of my favorites but this irked the hell out of me.

    Giving Up

I'm stopping now. If I ignore the last paragraph, this one had the HEA, and I don't have to wait (once again) for another "installment."

    What's with serials?

Also, it's not that hard to make a decision - and once you do, stick with it. The wishy-washy people in romances these days are driving me insane!

    Bad

I couldn't even finish this book. It is just so bad. The first 100 pages are just fighting between them all. The next is just endless boring talk, talk, talk. I finally just quit reading after skimming several pages. I get enough fighting and angst in real life, why would I want my downtime spent reading this crap too? I wish I could get my brain cells and the money I spent on this "book" back. Too bad I couldn't give it a .5 rating instead of a whole star.

    Great continuation of the series...

Couldn't put it down, you'll get drawn in. So emotional. Really hate the cliffhanger endings these books have especially when it's such a long wait between books. Outside of that, this is a great read, you won't be disappointed.

Raine Kendall can’t seem to let go of he past and accept that someone actually wants her.  Her time with Dom Liam O’Neill has been amazing and she is just waiting on something to go wrong.  And she can’t shake her feelings for her boss and first love Macen “Hammer” Hammerman.  The one night they shared together does nothing to ease that either.  She wants them both but can both Liam and Hammer put aside their differences and work together to give Raine what she needs???

This series is going to be great!  When I pick up the kindle to read it I can’t put it down.  Very well written and keeps your attention the entire time!  The scenes are HOT and the characters are smoking also!  Can’t wait for more!!!!

Would have been a 5 star...but the final paragraph changed all that! Another needless cliffhanger! Do any authors these days realize you can continue a story without disappointing their readers? (after all Bertrice Small did it for years!) If not for that huge mistake this would have been 5 stars! Great story, hot sex, and deep emotion. What a let down!!!!!

    Confusing

I waited so long for this book but the real conflict and perhaps bromance was between Hammer and Liam. Whats-her-name is just a metaphor . That being said, I am STILL Team Liam. Hammer has less finesse with the Dom role and often comes across as boorish in his commands for her sit down, etc, etc.
