A mystery thriller set on Catalina Island keeps you guessing

The hero, Charles Crawford, lives and writes books from his ocean-view cottage on Catalina Island. On a book tour across New Mexico and Arizona promoting his biography of Zane Grey, Crawford is shadowed by The Book Man, a vicious killer who commits 4 murders along the way. A copy of Crawford's book is left with each victim, complete with his signature across the title page. Ominous notes paint Crawford as the ultimate target of the killer. The author teams up with FBI Agent Ray Burke to end the mayhem. Scenic locations like Catalina Island, Avalon, Flagstaff, Sedona, San Pedro, and the Queen Mary abound. An attack by a Great White shark is one of the best action fishing scenes I've ever read. This one will keep you guessing to the very end.You will also learn a lot about Zane Grey, the western writer. In summary, a fast and fun read!
