One Hostage Bride

Kinley Kohl agrees to marry wealthy Greg Jansen to save her family. Her wedding day should be the happiest of her life…except that she doesn’t love him. And she can’t help but wonder if she’s making a mistake. Even so, she refuses to let her loved ones down. Then moments before her nuptials, she’s kidnapped—and her whole life changes.

Three Determined Mercenaries

Dominic Anthony has waited years to avenge his sister’s murder. He knows Greg Jansen is dirty, but he needs a witness to help prove his case. Jansen’s new bride is the perfect hostage. Kinley Kohl will tell him everything…or else. But his two business partners aren’t so sure. Law and Riley Anders worry that Kinley isn’t as guilty as she seems. And Law suspects she might be the one woman who can handle them all.

From Target to Treasure

In the wilds of Alaska, the three men try to pry Kinley open, only to discover she’s both stronger and more innocent than they imagined. Her sweet beauty melts their suspicion and steals their hearts. Together, they awaken her passion and brand her as their own. When danger strikes, the men realize they must save Kinley or lose the love of their lives forever.

    Length

I enjoyed the book, and liked that there was a true plot and not just a book's worth of sex with no story to back it up. There is also true emotion between the characters, which was refreshing. And it is 271 pages long, which is info BN should include.

This book held me captive until the very last page. I loved the 3 sexy mercenaries and the captured hostage was just a real sweetheart, of course with her being a sub, well no wonder. The sex was spicy, sweet, make-you-squirm HOT and yet tender enough to make you tear up. All in all, this book was a true delight and one I can't seem to get enough of. Shayla Black and Lexi Blake make a spectacular duo when it comes to writing. Keep these babies coming!

    I forgot not to buy!

These two authors have been describing their heroines as being too fat!! Who wants to read about a hot, sexy man and an overweight woman!! It's all I can think about during the sex scenes. Three pages in, you find out this heroine is fat too. I'm overweight and have no issue with overweight people, but I read romance cuz I want the fantasy of a beautiful couple. These women don't just wear a size ten, they are overweight. Why do we want to glorify that anyway? We're all too fat as it is. I wish I hadn't paid for another one of their books. The last three I've read of theirs written jointly and alone, have featured an overweight heroine. They aren't obese, but definitely plumpy.

In Their Virgin Hostage, Book 5, of the Masters of Ménage, ex Special Ops Dominic and Brothers: Law and Riley, kidnap a bride Kinsey to save her from marrying a man they are investigating that is has evil intentions.
Kinsey is a loyal, sweet, debutante with a bit of a sassy mouth. She is sacrificing her own happiness to save her family from financial ruin by marrying a man who has promised to take care of them even though she doesn’t love him. I would bet dollars to doughnuts that she could talk her way out of a speeding ticket with no problem. Man, this poor woman had to deal with the world she thought she knew crumbling around her as the truth is revealed. She was so brave and strong that when things were at their darkest she was able to let love in when betrayal was all around her. I could relate her to her body issues and thinking no one would ever want her but it was very evident there these men were not ok with her self -deprecating comments.
Dominic, Law and Riley are former Special Ops who together make up the perfect man for Kinsey. Dominic is domineering and is given the nickname of “Dom Dom” that I found hilarious but I wouldn’t let Dominic know that or I would be able to sit down for a week! Riley was sexy and seductive and observant. Law was tender, sweet, attentive and protective. He made this relationship seem doable and anchored them all together to the one woman they all loved, Kinley. Each has flaws inside that alone may jeopardize a relationship but somehow together it didn’t keep me from seeing his as realistic. My favorite was Law. He always had his attention on her and best interests in mind. I love alpha males that fall hard for their lady loves and all three did just that! WOO HOO!!!
The story is full of angst, thrills and chills (good and bad) with a little of BDSM kinkiness thrown in for good measure. The characters are well developed and I feel know each ones strengths and weaknesses. You know where they stand and aren’t left with any doubt. It was a steamy read and a whole lot of delicious hotness that had me fanning myself with my kindle. The erotic scenes were filled with sensuality, intimacy and connection. The storyline was fast and fun and at times predictable. Once you read one of the books in the series you tend to see a pattern but I don’t mind it. I always want to see the guy(s) get the girl. I’m a romantic at heart.

This was a bit different from the other books for me I think. Don’t get me wrong it’s a good book, but she was kidnapped and decided she was in love with those guys. A bit strange since she only knew one of them. It would be different if they had met before, but I didn’t like this part. The sex scenes were great and I liked more of Dominic. He’s the more normal and it’s afraid of the future.

They didn’t shared a normal weekend and this is a extremely difficult situation, but I liked Kinley. She’s a nice girl and totally deserved three hot guys dedicated to her. Her family treated her way to bad and they so need to pay. Kinley never did anything more but is stuck in this strange place because she simply can’t say no to people. Because come on we can all see she has been used and she does nothing about it.

Anyway. I would buy this one for the sexual scenes alone, the story lacked more drama. It was a little to easy for them to kidnaped her and the end was not satisfactory for me.

    Not the best one

I love this series! I was so excited to read this one, but it was just ok. Kinley is too sweet, too naive and too trusting. Not to mention, The book just felt a little rushed. Especially the ending. But none the less im a loyal fan so iil keep buying and keep reading.

    Hot Hot Hot

Did I mention Hot? The Masters series is a fabulous calibration between two of my favorite authors. I don't think a girl can ask for much more than that. They delivered a fabulous story with a lot of heat!
