Editorial Reviews

Publishers Weekly
This character- and plot-heavy sequel to June 2010's Crush on You delivers a very sexy hero, a frustratingly stubborn heroine who doth protest way too much, and a messy tangle of voices and story threads. Tomboy Stephania "Stevie" Baci avoids responsibility for the family vineyard–cum–wedding destination until she is forced by circumstance to coordinate the nuptials of her ex-fiancé and his new flame, a bona fide princess. Luckily, the bride's princely, very alpha male brother, Jacques "Jack" Parini, helps Stevie save face by posing as her new fiancé. Abundant plot elements add depth but muddle the story arc, and the multicharacter head-hopping detracts from the hero and heroine. While the protagonists' challenging, determined venture into love and lust is touching, stiff prose and pronoun confusion keep this romance flatly earthbound. (Jan.)
Library Journal
When Stevie (Stephania) Baci's ex-fiancé and his royal bride-to-be decide to have their wedding at Tanti Baci, the family winery and newly launched wedding destination, and she ends up in charge of the event, she doesn't think things could get much worse. But when the bride's notorious, fast-living brother, in town with the express purpose of keeping Stevie from sabotaging his little sister's big day, averts a social disaster by announcing his engagement to a stunned Stevie, she realizes just how wrong she can be. VERDICT A sassy tomboy heroine with her own limousine company and a footloose playboy hero in search of a life set the pages aflame with their sexy antics and outspoken banter in this bubbly, easy-going sparkler that nails its Napa-in-January setting and touchingly continues the "Three Kisses" trilogy. Ridgway (Crush on You) lives in California.

    Exceptional

Rarely do I find the second book in a series that I like better than the first, but I enjoyed Stevie and her story even more than Allie's. Ridgway kept up the action and snappy dialogue with first-class character development and creative multiple story lines all the way through.

    An absolute delight

Then He Kissed Me by Christie Ridgway is an absolute delight. Its funny, sexy and will sweep you off your feet.

Stevie Baci enjoyed having her own business Napa Princess Limousine. It was bad enough that she got stuck on New Year's Eve driving her former fiancée and his royal bride to be around town. Also along for the ride is the bride to be brother, the prince. Jacques Parini is friends with the Baci's neighbors the Bennett brothers. He is one fine looking man and Stevie decides she wants to have an affair just like a man would.

Jacques Parini has lived his life to the fullest after he and his sisters were kidnapped in their teen years. Now at his sisters wedding he finds himself rethinking his whole way of life. Jack is eager to find out of the sexy limo driver taste as good as she looks. He is perplexed by her and drawn to her like no other woman he has ever met.

Stevie and Jack both have issues from their past to deal with but their attraction is something that neither can ignore. Nor do they want to.

Then He Kissed Me is enchanting from beginning to end. The witty conversations between Stevie and Jack just snap and sizzle. Their sexual chemistry ignites every time they are together. This book is spectacular and makes me want the next book now. Love this series.

    a delightful contemporary

Stephania "Stevie" Baci wants nothing to do with her family vineyard turned into a wedding events place. However, though she tries to avoid serving as a hostess at Tanti Baci Winery Wedding Chapel, Stevie has no choice but to run the marriage of her former fiancé Emerson Platt and his intended bride Princess Roxanne of Ardenia.

Roxanne's brother Prince Jacques "Jack" Parini agrees to assist Stevie with the event and to help her avoid humiliation of watching her former fiancé walk down the aisle by pretending to be her fiancé. She accepts his kind offer although she considers rejecting it as she will now have to spend time with an alpha hunk she secretly covets. As they fall in love, Stevie doubts she is ready to walk down the aisle.

The latest Three Kisses Napa Valley romance (see Crush on You) is a delightful contemporary starring a protective champion (with strong reasons to watch over his sister and Stevie) and an "I'm Not In Love heroine. Although the support cast can prove overwhelming at times (then again it is a wedding), fans will enjoy the adventures in love between the Mystery Man who insists he is as much a Georgia farmer as as he is a European royal and the winery's Tomboy.
