Meet the Author

Montreal Martin is a proud graduate of the American Baptist College in Nashville, Tennessee, having earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies and Sociology. Martin is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree.
Martin has a passion for befriending, mentoring, and counseling today’s youth and young adults. Many ask him why he would be involved in youth ministry, as these persons consider it to be a difficult ministry to endure. Martin believes that if God has called or ordained an individual to work in a certain area of ministry, then He equips him or her to endure anything! The challenges and hardships he faced as an adolescent compels him to currently reach out to at-risk young men and women today, letting them know that they are valuable in the eyes of God and that without Him, nothing is possible.
Additionally, since Martin is aware of the challenges and dilemmas that the youth are facing, he yearns to be a positive role model, mentor, and surrogate father in the lives of other young men and women. He is an advocate for bridging the intergenerational gap in the church and bringing the church back into the communities, which will ultimately bring the communities back into the church.
