About the Author

Jennifer "drJ" Thibeaux is an American author and performance expert. Thibeaux burst onto the public scene as an exceptional athlete and Olympic hopeful starting at 5 years old in Houston, TX. At an early age she represented brands like Girl Scouts of America and United Way in national print and television ad campaigns. As an exceptional student Thibeaux graduated in the top 4% of her class at Willowridge High School turning down over 10 scholarship offers to accept a scholarship to study at Texas A&M University at College Station. As an adult she's had the pleasure of working all over the globe; giving international press conferences on social science research; providing business intelligence and guidance to some of the most influential leaders in America and beyond. Thibeaux has worked with schools all over the United States and in South Africa to improve youth outcomes of hope, wellbeing, engagement, economic energy, and financial literacy through scientific research and curriculum development. She is the co-creator of one of the leading mentoring models for attorneys, entrepreneurs, and executives - hosting leadership conferences around the United States to support leadership development with those groups. Thibeaux has become a thought leader in the webinar space assisting groups like the National Diversity Council in broadcasting their nation-changing information. Thibeaux has served as an activist and voice for African American and Hispanic students at Texas A&M to defend against racism, harassment, exclusion, and division - holding the position of executive director of the largest minority student organization on campus during her tenure as a an undergraduate student. Additionally, as a long-time philanthropist, Thibeaux is an Endowed Century Club donor at her alma mater - Texas A&M University. Thibeaux has also had the pleasure of chronicling the journey of many retired football players as they pursue benefits earned through documentary film projects. Finally, Thibeaux is the very proud mother Liz Smith - a scholar-baller, basketball phenom who attends a top sports high school academy in the United States.
