Meet the Author

I'm a 30 year old wife and mom but if you ask me I'll tell you I'm on my second 29th year...I started writing when I was fourteen. It was a fantasy novel that can be found on Wattpad and I may eventually pass to smashwords once I get a chance to seriously clean it up. Although my grammatical skills are a bit atrocious I'm working on improving and the few months that I've really taken writing on I've improve immensely. I love to read feedback on my books, good and bad! So don't be afraid to speak up!

    NEEDS EDITING!!!!!!

This 764 page story has good bones but I have some issues with it. If an author has the passion and time to write such a long story that is obviously part 1 of a series, then the author has time to proof read! Yes, the author gives a disclaimer in the beginning about "not having the knowledge" or friends to proofread or edit but, seriously, all it takes is to read your own work to catch these mistakes! Like I said, this supernatural shifter story has good bones. I just wish the author would stop making excuses, take pride in her work, and proofread before she publishes book 2.

    Not The Best

This could have been a fantastic book but ended up being a chore to swim through the grammer, syntax and alliteration. None of these characters had enough brains to figure out who the bad guy was and I pegged him pretty quick. And most importantly the ending was so abrupt and unsatisfying it made me want to look for another chapter or two just in case I missed them some where along the way. So why am I complaining so bitterly? This could have been an outstanding read with a great new concept in the paranormal genre. One last word to the author....keep trying because you are on the verge of greatness.

Really bad grammar and punctuation. I hated the ending. James and Lily should have gotten back together or made this into a series where this ending could have been a lead-in to the next book. Kinda all over the place.

    Not Bad at All....but

I agree with the previous reader. Good bones. What separated it from being a really great read and just aread with good potential is the lack or laziness in editing. Sentences that made no sense, inappropriate use of adjectives or limited knowledge about which ones to use. A thesaurus would have been a great help. If you can write 764 pages, you can at least proofread it. I am disappointed the author had so little regard for her readers and her work. I thought the story was good, kept me reading inspite of the poor grammar, bad spelling and abrupt ending. It could have been great.

    Needs serious editing

Only got to pg 83 and had to quit as poor grammar, misspellings and dropped words were too distracting to continue.

    Almost perfect

It was an amazing book! Worth reading through the bad grammar, but the one thing that i dont like is the ending. The auther clearly tried hard to write this book but it looks as if she gave up in the end.The ending would be perfect if she was writing a part 2 to the first book but i learned that she was not.

Really needs a follow-up, Can't leave us hanging like this at the end. Really good story line, needs some help in editing but was well written. Again, needs a follow up of the main characters. It feels like they they need more.

Spotty Grammar. Terrible ending. Great read!!!

Good read. I really enjoyed it! If there isn't a second book then I give it 3 stars. The grammar was sad but I was able to push on. The ending was completely wrong for for this book. Completely disappointed. I hope that was the authors way of letting us know book two was on it way. If not then the ending took a lot away from the quality of the book.

I'm sorry but this book will waste your time. It is a good length for a freebie, which other authories seem to be shying away from. Sor for that it gets a star. However, there was no editing to this book. Misuse of words, words left out of sentences, poor punctuation indicate a human editor would have helped. There was only one sex scene throughout the entire book, which indicates the author could have left it out and it would have been fine as a young adult or teen novel. But there wasn't enough sex to make it enjoyable for an adult reader. Also, there is no wrap in the ending with the two main characters. If that is to be the ending it is not a romance novel. In short, this book is about an angry young woman, who stays angry for over seven hundred pages. Good length, fair plot, that's it.

    Ok read

It was an ok read and like the others i agree, the ending sucked because ended before it ever really began. The main two characters something more to than the ending the author gave.

    Potential

The ending was horrible. A book should not end abruptly like that if there are no plans for a second one. There were also many grammatical errors

    Good read

I liked the story. There were many gramatical errors, but had a good story. I hated the ending and really hope there is a follow, but after reading other comments/reviews, it didn't sound promising.

I give this book two stars for two reasons. Take pride in your product and edit. Even if you are self publishing someone can read it for you. It shows you either don't care about what you are putting out or you don't care about what your reader's will think of your work. Secondly, you cannot end a book so abruptly. The ending is horrible. This could be a great series, but it would be hard to take you as a serious author with the lack of editing, grammatical issues and abrupt story endings. Next time have a neighbor or co-worker read it for you. Sometimes it is hard to read your own work and remain objective. Your work will always look right to you, because you wrote it.
