I know the Clique books are supposed to be "bad" because the girls are mean and rich and there are never morals to the stories, but I love them anyway! They're absorbing and fun, so what's the harm in reading them as long as you know how to not behave like the snobby Pretty Committee? In TBAMFS (yet another clever Clique title) alpha girl Massie decides that she and her overprivileged friends need to "upgrade" and snag ninth grade crushes. However, Pretty Committee member Claire is completely, totally, and fully unwilling to ditch her BF, Cam. So will Massie move on, or will Claire give in and find another guy? On top of this drama, Massie's ninth grade crush, Landon, is spotted with another girl, and Massie attempts to track the girl down. As in, literally going around girl-hunting. Is it a happy ending for the OCDivas? Or just another dramafest?

These Boots Are Made For Stalking by Lisi Harrison is the twelfth book in the popular, bestselling Clique series for preteen and teen girls. These Boots Are Made For Stalking tells the story of how the Pretty Committee: Massie, Alicia, Dylan, Kristen, and Claire just might get an "upgrade" on something that is important to them: their crushes. Massie is in love with someone that is in high school and she, without a doubt, think the other PC(Pretty Committee) girls should get high school crushes, as well. However, this upsets Claire, who wants to be faithful to her middle-school crush, Cam. This creates tension between Massie and Claire, and toward the end, Claire has a new group of drama friends introduced to her by Claire's other best friend, Layne who is not in the PC. When Massie happens to see Claire hanging out with her new friends and not the PC, this starts a fight between Massie and Claire, that seems to continue further in the next book. Massie also has problems of her own. She recently sees a video of her crush hanging out with another girl. Her only clue to who this other girl is a bird tattoo on the girl's ankle. Massie and her friends go on a hunt for "Ankle-Bird" and the results are not what Massie and the girls expect. This sort of thing in the book might not happen in real life, so i definitely give harrison and extra star for creativity. In general, I think this is a great book and would recommend to all of you Clique fans out there, if you haven't read it yet.

With Massie crushing on a ninth grade boy, she's decided that the Pretty Committee must all upgrade, as well. Dylan, Kristen, and Alicia can't wait to fall for someone new, but there's no way Claire is giving up Cam. If only she could make Massie understand. She sets out determined to change her alpha's mind. Meanwhile, Massie's still trying to understand ninth grade rules and how to approach Landon. When she realizes that he's hanging out with other girls, her suspicions force the committee into stalking the school, crashing a fundraiser party, and spying in windows. Has the Pretty Committee gone too far? Will they be caught stalking and downgraded faster that you can say LBR? Will Massie give Claire some slack, given the recent turmoil of the PC, or will Claire be forced to choose between Cam and the upgraded crush? I like Claire sticking up for herself as the PC is back together once again and attempting to move higher on the social ladder. Massie is still clueless, but fun to watch. I adore these books because they're catty and full of fashion, crushes, and friendship drama.

This book was a total comeback for Lisi Harrison. Her last book Boys R Us was okay, but it didn't really have a meaning to it. But then she wrote These Boots Are Made For Stalking! When I first saw the title I was really confused, but after I got more into the book, I loved it. You'd never think that the PC would get into another fight over boys, but INCORRECT! They did! Massie is back to her controlling alpha-self. And the PC gets a brand new idea for getting new crushes. You just have to read the book to find out what happens between Massie and Claire. OOPS Too much info!

The Clique is great to show that the clique at your school has tons of insecurities and have such a hard life. They can't walk out of the house without being nit picked if the don't look perfect. It so much easier being yourself.

In the book, These Boots are Made for Stalking, the girls of the Pretty Committee, Massie, Claire, Alicia, Kristen, and Dylan, feel like they need an "upgrade" on their middle school crushes. Massie, who is the leader of the Pretty Committee, has a crush on a freshman in high school and feels the other girls should have high school crushes too. Alicia. Kristen, and Dylan are excited to get new crushes, but Claire is upset by this. She still wants to be with her middle school crush, Cam, but Massie does not approve of this. This creates problems between Massie and Claire. Claire's other bestfriend, Layne, who is not part of the Pretty Committee, introduces Claire to a new group of friends. When Massie sees Claire hanging out with her new friends, she becomes furious. This creates a fight between Massie and Claire. However, Massie has her own problems, as well. She sees her high school crush, Landon, with another girl who has a bird tattoo on her ankle. this is Massie's only clue to find out who the mystery girl is. Massie and the girls set out to find out who it was and who they see was not what they expected! I think that this book is a very good read. It is full of drama, tension, and is very creatively written. There are many references to famous fashion brands and technology. I think this is a wonderful read for anyone who likes books full of drama and fashion.
