Award-winning gospel singer Sandi Patty's album, These Days, is filled with a Christian pop beat and strong, inspirational lyrics. Of course, her voice is beautiful enough to almost gloss over bad songs, but that's not needed here. Fans probably won't find a single track on this album that they care to skip. These songs are quality offerings from production to writing to music. The Christian messages in the tunes on These Days touch hearts without knocking listeners over the head. It makes it easy to see why Patty performs before sold-out crowds so often and has been called on to entertain smaller audiences at places like the White House. During her long career, she has earned a number of Grammy awards and more than two dozen Dove awards. Maybe she is so good at singing words of faith and encouragement because of the life she leads, filled with work for charities and the daily obstacles she runs into as the mother of eight children. A few of the standout songs on this album are "Wings of Peace," "In the Calm," "Go Without Knowing," "Candles," and "Wouldn't Trade It for the World."

    These Days In The Second Millenium Sound Great With Sandi!

    Sandi will always be at the top of my contemporary Christian music list. I have never been disappointed with any of her CD releases, because her choice of ''Triple A'' compositions and impeccable production values have consistently been first rate. I'm happy that she's focused and recorded material on this CD for the ''ultra-contemporary Christian'' radio station formats. Sandi Patty is a survivor and consistently proves she can adapt her God-given musical talent with today's ''hip'', ''re-invented'' Christian radio market... and so much more with the ''twinkle of her eye''. You go girl! Over the years many vocalists (secular and non-secular), have recorded many of the now famous Christian 'Pop Standards', originally introduced and recorded by Sandi Patty. For instance, 'THESE DAYS' has similar contemporary overtones to, 'ANOTHER TIME, ANOTHER PLACE' which contains the classic ''Unexpected Friends'' duet with Amy Grant; acoustically re-recorded again on Sandi's 'LE VOYAGE'CD; and recently combined with ''Where There Is Love'' on the new Michael Poss 'SILVER SCREEN SERENADES' CD). In turn, many new songs from 'THESE DAYS' will prove to become Christian Pop music 'Standards', thanks to this top notch female vocalist.
