Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - William Ruhlmann
A successful musical with a book by Neil Simon and songs by Marvin Hamlish and Carole Bayer Sager. It concerns the on-again, off-again relationship between a composer and lyricist. They're Playing Our Song has a pop music score characteristic of its time, even to the point of the disco style of some of its songs. Robert Klein and Lucie Arnaz are the principals.

SEEN 7 TIMES & LOVED IT 7 TIMES

I've seen "They're Playing Our Song" with various stars and both on Broadway and on tour and I've never seen a bad performance.

    Great Musical

I haven't actually listened to this entire album, but I have seen the show and heard several of the tracks on this cd, and I absolutely adore this musical... The tunes a very catchy, and after seeing it just once, I was singing the snatches that I could remember from the show... Now I know two of the songs by heart and am working at getting the album... It's a really awesome show... Check it out.

    Awsome Music and Show

I saw the show several years ago and ran the cassette down to nothing left. Now getting my second CD to have one in the house and one in the car. Still some of the best music anywhere. Too bad they don't make them like this anymore.
