    Outstanding 1st...

After reading 'Thief of Hearts,' I cannot wait to get my hands on the 2nd. copy of this MUST READ romantic-suspense. I enjoy this genre and I truly loved the characters in this mini-series. From chapter to chapter I had a fabulous time following Nouri St. Charles Sommers. So many men...so little time...that is my kind of gal! If only life could be so sweet!

I Could Actually Smell The Honey-suckle, Wild Roses, and Salty Sea Air!

Thief Of Hearts is the first installment of Ms. Murray's Lambert series of four books. A real page turning Soap Opera that slowly unfolds in book one of the series through people from her main character's past--things from her past--and, memories of her past. The story begins in Boston and then takes the reader to a make-believe island paradise known as Lambert. Lambert is a hidden hideaway where the super-rich go to find solace from their billionaire empires and super-rich lifestyles. An island located in the Eastern Bay area near Cape Cod and neighboring Nantucket isolated from the land mass of New England where its sands are enclosed by the restless waters that both caress and influence the weather--breathtakingly beautiful. The sea has shaped the land itself--year by year--tide by tide--and, storm by storm. Honey-suckle, wild roses, liacs, mint, and salty sea air scent the air from magnificant sunrise to spectacular sunset. Lambert is more than an resort on an island surrounded by sand dunes or salty sea air. A quaint little village it is not! At this secret haven guest-elite come and go at will--to unwind, relax, and be pampered in every imagined way. A place where every wish is granted and every demand fulfilled--A year round paradise created exclusively for the wealthiest of people. A place where money is never an issue and of course, it's scandal free. That is scandal free until a double murder is discovered on the island elite implicating the wife to one of the wealthiest and most powerful men in the world. From that moment on the island paradise will never be the same. Neither will the lives of the many guest-elite who frequent there. The entire four book series is centered around one earth-shattering week in the life of the beautiful billionaire's wife, Nouri Sommers. Her secret passion for romance is what drove Nouri Sommers to excessively write in her journals night after night--page after page of passion--page after page of longing--page after page of seductive romance. Her late afternoon rendezvous with her sizzling journals were becomming more like daily rituals complete with tailor-maid preparations and all--First she would draw herself a hot, silky bubble bath--then pour herself a chilled glass of Asti Spumanti, her beverage of choice for journal writing. The bubbling effervescence tickles her nose, and the taste of little, green apples, tart, yet fruity and sweet, help assist in creating just the right tone for an hour of imaginary bliss. 'Maybe tonight, I'll create a God!' she mused to herself as she unlocked the silver-jeweled box that house her most intimate thoughts of passion. 'Yeah, a Greek God!' she lustfully whispered, while retrieving her latest journal from its guarded location. After settling into the hot, silky water her imagination quickly shifted from the bored Mrs. Ethan Sommers to Nouri St. Charles Sommers, A.K.A... DAMSEL IN DISTRESS! ...Out of nowhere he came. Just simply BANG... He was there... Standing directly in front of me... Both mystery readers as well as romance readers will love Ms. Murray's make-believe paradise of Lambert starting with THIEF OF HEARTS.
