Stephen Gullo, Ph.D., is former chair of the National Obesity and Weight Control Institute at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and President of the Institute for Health and Weight Sciences in New York and Beverly Hills. Dr. Gullo is a frequent contributor to Allure magazine. He lives in New York City.

Love this! This diet really works and the sample menu pages are delicious! I still make most recipes on a regular. I did this diet before my weddng. I dropped 50 pounds in about 3 months! I went from 170 to 120. Just amazing. Highly recomment the book & the diet.
I first listened to an audible version of this book and then bought it. It is really terrific! First because the author shows page after page that he really understands the challenges someone with serious problems with overeating faces; and second because he share great strategies for overcoming them. Sometimes his advice is easy, other times it is tough, but I really felt it was always dead on accurate. He really had my number! Really great specific strategies like "boxing in" and "boxing out" foods. You will not regret getting this book.!
