Children's Literature - Sarah Maury Swan
Froggy shows you to "think happy," especially when you are feeling sad. Piggy tells you to be your best promoter. Be sure to ask for help if you need it—whether it is to help put something together or to stop a bully from picking on you. Rabbit gets help from Mrs. Bear, the crossing guard, when Doggy picks on her. Froggy encourages us to have fun by playing outside or giving a party or a show. Exercising and getting enough sleep and drinking lots of water is good for your body and will make you happy. Be friendly to your neighbors and accept hugs from your friends or family and hug them back. Say hi to the new kid at school. Old folks love to tell stories which are fun to listen to. Learn to meditate and have faith. Happy thoughts will get you through tough times or help you if you are in trouble. Remember you are always loved and if you are happy, you will make others happy. Cute story with nice illustrations, although I would have liked them a little closer to what the animals really look like. Reviewer: Sarah Maury Swan
