I made the shawl on page 46/47 and I am not an expert by any means. It is a very simple pattern but gives a very rich look and is very warm. This is one of the most attractive looking crocheted shawls I have seen. The book has some lovely lap afghans, hats and a good selection of other things to make. The booklet is 63 pages and I love the fact that a portion of each book sold will be donated to Breast Cancer Research. On page 24/25 is a lovely lap afghan that has a trim of the breast cancer ribbon crocheted as edging.
You don't have to use pink yarn unless you like, therefore, many of the patterns can be made for anyone by using different colors of yarn. You will even find a pattern for a crocheted teddy bear.

The projects contained in this book give both comfort and a bit of whimsy to those suffering from breast cancer. The directions are well written and easy to follow. I recommend this book at anyone who loves to crochet and wants to bring a bit of joy to someone who is going through cancer treatment. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
