EVERY WOMAN should read this book. It's easy to understand, and follow. It puts everything into perspective and reiterates the fact that women don't have to starve themselves or do hours of cardio to get the body they want. I HIGHLY recommend it and I have been training for several years. Not to mention the author has other amazing books and fantastic recipes!! I use this book on a daily basis.

Well written. Easy to understand and apply the program. Mike welcomes his readers to email him if they have questions or concerns an he is true to his word. He has been very quick to reply to my questions, and very helpful! His descriptions on how to do things like the squat, deadlift etc. are spot on. He knows his stuff. I just started this program and am already feeling it.

Wow, what an EXCELLENT book & like NOTHING I've ever read on diet & exercise. No WONDER I've not achieved my goal of a LEAN & toned body year after year though I am an avid exerciser & eat very well. Michael Matthews went through the same failures year after year that so many people including myself have experienced but luck for us he broke the code & FIGURED IT OUT ! It is crystal clear to me that if you don't have the basics in, the CORRECT diet & CORRECT exercise program you will continue going to the gym, or to your exercise classes month after month, year after year STILL not have achieved your fitness goals. This book answered ALL of my questions in the area of CORRECT nutrition, diet & exercise & gave me the CORRECT program to achieve my fitness goals. VERY happy to have found this book & HIGHLY RECOMMEND it EVERY woman out there whether you've been exercising for years, or just starting out. Simply a must & invaluable.

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!! Thinner leaner stronger is my fitness bible. I have been through so many diets and exercise plans in the past that haven't worked. I have also bee through many that have worked, but were just to hard to keep up that eventually I quit. My brother told me about this book so I decided to give it a shot. THAT was the smartest I have ever done. I love this book so much!! I follow it to the T and I have lost so much weight, and I look leaner and thinner than I ever looked before!!!! Micheal Matthews gives you so much infomartion. He breaks down the science of how and why everything works. So when youre at the gym and youre lifting or doing cardio, you know whats happening  to your body so you're always motivated to go on. He literally takes you step by step through your workouts and food. Also, I used to hate the gym, it was always long hours and I never knew what to do. I would always get to the gym and just watch people and then finally decide to settle on the treadmill or elliptical. But Michael Matthews walks you through all the workouts that you do everyday...AND THE BEST PART....They seem effortless. They are short and effective and the results are so obvious!!! I used to roll my eyes when I heard that people actually "liked" the gym, because I never understood how.  But now, I look so forward to the gym everyday. I LOVE IT!! And I don't WANT to miss a day. I have a lean and strong body now an it's all thanks to Michael Mathews. After I noticed results, I bought all of his others books too!! This is a BRILLIANT GUARANTEED MUST READ!!! :)

I am a triathlete and a personal trainer...shhhh don't tell the author..lol...but this book is awesome! It is well written, easy to understand and apply. Micheal Matthews does a great job of answering questions that you would have, giving detailed explanations that don't put you to sleep! I devoured this book in a couple of days...so much good, solid information and truly anyone can take this program and follow it step by step and change their body! The nutrition information is as informative and detailed as the how to of the weight program! I am not easily impressed by many fitness books,(too many people out there taunting this or that special way to get the body you want) but this one definitely gets my vote...(oh and his Shredded Chef recipes are amazing!), yes he does say you can get the body you want, but his book tells you how to do that with good ole fashion work and healthy eating! Check it out!!

Prior to reading this book I disnt have much knowledge on working out. The only theory I had behind working out was what others would tell me or opinions I would hear. Things would get conflicting and sound very complicated and making it so I didn't even want to think about counting calories or setting foot in a gym. My friend recommended this book for me to read, I'm really glad they did! Mike laid it all out in a super easy way that really doesn't take much to understand. I'm now super excited to get started in the gym and get my body where I've always wanted it to be!

This book gets right to the point. This is the information I've been searching for. 1 week in and I can already see a difference in my body. I'm so excited to start this journey. I can now feel confident in the "big boy" area of the gym. I've been recommending this book to many of my friends. Thank you Michael Matthews!!!

If you want to get in shape the answer is simple, follow this book. I've always been pretty skinny, but I got up to about 157 just eating whatever I wanted. I'm a pre-med so I knew what to do, I cut back on calories and got down to around 145. I just couldn't lose anymore weight. I started cutting my calories hardcore and I wasn't losing weight, I was hungry all the time, and I was miserable. Then I got this book. I've just started but I'm already down to 138 and I'm lifting 5 days a week. I never thought I'd be able to do any kind of strength exercise but Mike makes it simple. You CAN do this, trust me. He lays it all out for you and helps you along the way by answering your questions directly on Twitter. Bottom line, want to change your body, get this book and follow his recommendations.

This book was great. It's the best fitness book I've bought in a long time and I've bought many! It's easy to understand and it'sbased on science and research.
