Buy this book for all the TCK's and ATCK's you know!!!!

This book defines my life and I was not able to put it down! I read it once and then highlighted all the areas that I identified with the most. I have shared this with other ATCK's- and they have all purchased this book immediatley. Finally, the experiences as well as the difficulties and challenges of my life are in written form. I treasure this book for making me feel part of a culture at last- an Adult Third Culture Kid!

    "MUST READ!"

This book is definately a "MUST READ" for all who grew up in culture other than the one of their parents. (i.e. embassador kids, missionary kids, children of bussiness people, children of military personel, etc). Anyone who knows a "Third Culture Kid" or an "Adult Third Culture Kid" also MUST READ this book. This is single-handedly the best book I've read in my lifetime! It only took me 2 days to read the 300+ pages. I couldn't put it down. I connected with every word as brought clarity to my "third culture" life. I wish I'd read this book sooner. Man!! I can't rant and rave enough about this book! Its AWESOME! Buy and recommend it to others.

    A "Bible" for Expat Parents

I agree with the two other reviewers: a MUST READ. Before embarking on the expat life, parents should read this book. Even though I am not a TCK or an ATCK, I am the parent of TCKs and I myself identified with many of the emotions, challenges, joys a life lived "elsewhere" can provide. I regret not reading the book long ago. We are moving to our 4th country in a short while and I feel much better prepared. Many thanks to the authors for putting into words what so many expats feel!
