Meet the Author

About meeee....aboooot me. Who am I? I'm Q. Kelly, and this is what my Amazon author page says:

Fact One: I like corny jokes. If you have any good ones, send them my way!

Fact Two: My favorite color is purple, but my writing is gray. Life is not black and white. I often write about issues and characters where there is no "right" answer.

Fact Three: I'm weird. I like being weird.

Yeah, that's me in a nutshell. If I was small enough to fit in a nutshell, anyway.

I'm a writer. I have a bunch of books out and lots more to come (I hope). Most recently, "Strange Bedfellows" won two Rainbow Awards for 2012.

I think Q. Kelly took a risk with this book, but that's nothing new. Q doesn't shy away from things taboo or deep in texture. "Third" takes you on an adventure to the past and brings it to the present. Q certainly has a way with words that makes the otherwise taboo practice of polyamory perfectly natural for these three characters. In fact, it seems the only way to save an otherwise failing relationship and the perfect match for an "out of place" woman. Some people may shy away from this book because of the polyamory content, but I'm telling you...it's worth the risk. Really, give it a try. I did and I loved it. Polyamory may not be for me personally, but for these characters it is definitely the right way. Great read, Q!
