    STILL GOOD TO THIS DAY!!!

I read this book years ago and I still come back to it and pick it up. I can't force my self to read it again all the way through because once was scary enough. I still go through and read indivual stories though. "Collect Call" by Christopher Pike was really good and always stood out. But with R.L.Stine, it's not a matter of who is the better writer. I just like him the best because I know his work better. I also enjoyed "Deathflash" by A.Bates, even though it's not scary per say, it has a good meaning and it is kind of creepy in a "makes you think" way. Over all the book was fantastic and I recomend it to everybody. Age does not matter to me because even as a little girl I like horror stuff! Even though it was freaky. But to all those protect parents, if you happen to be a little kid who scares easy then DO NOT READ! But if your age does not effect your scare level then by all means read on! *please don't attack with pitch forks over bearing parents*

    Worth Reading!

Thirteen is a horror book full of short stories by R.L. Stine, Diane Hoh, Jay Bennett, and many more. I really liked this book, because each of the thirteen stories was all scary and made me want to turn to the next page. The setting is different in each story, but some are in graveyards, old mansions, and many other classic scary places. The conflicts are extremely different in each story. Most of them are usually about a murder and figuring out who did it. In one of the stories, Violet is at a computer class and hacks into the serial killer ¿Hacker¿ computer by accident! She soon find out who the next victim is, read it to find out if she tells the police? They use words that creep you out, and make you want to turn the next page. Don¿t read this book unless your lights are on! This book will fulfill all of your horror requests. Teenagers would really like this book, I recommend it for ages twelve plus.

    What a book!

This was one of the best books I have ever read.It was just too amazing. All the stories in there are so great you wont want to put it down. But 'Where the Deer Are' it didn't make since and I didnt get it.But Collect Call was probably the best one in the book. But like I said before if you love horror books the way I do , you wont want to put it down ,so make sure you are not busy when you read it.

    Wet your bed scary,

OMG. This book is amazing. Things that the human mind can create never stop to amaze me. Sick and twisted horrors snacked into a book that leaves you sleeping with our light on. From dolls that always seem to watch you in the nihght to deer that have eyes that see all. Never in my life have i even touched apon the twisted sickness of this book. If you are a true horror fan such as myself, Buy this book, read it, then lock it away so its evil will not take you to the dark side

    a great book

this book is is one of the best one's i've read. my favorite story is collect call, the only one that i didn't like in the book is the where the deer are... that one story lost me. Plus it's to boring it doesn't go into anything all it does is leave you at a lost.

    Awsome book!

Pike, Stine, Cooney, Bates, all great authors will great minds and imaginations. This book hooked me to Christopher Pike and helped me spread my horizon beyond my other favorite authors (Duncan, Loius,Stine, ect...) This is a great book that all my friends enjoyed. (One of them so much it took her 3 months to return it!)

    Fabulous...but confusing

This book has some excellent stories, but some are a bit hard to understand. For example, the story 'The Deer' is strange. But, it's an excellent book and I recommend it for anyone who loves horror.

I have not read all of the stories in this book, but I have read a good number of them. 'Where the Deer Are' was a great story sure to make you think twice about walking alone in a wooded area again. The parania just keeps coming with the stories in this book. A MUST HAVE!

Thirteen is definately a lucky number here!!

I use to have this book, then when I moved into a different room I some how lost it. I was so distraught that I had to run out and buy a new copy. Every story in here keeps you on the edge of your seat and they're all different. Read this is you like to experience different things. Every story will be an experience you will never forget!!
