All Music Guide - MacKenzie Wilson
Twin sisters Tegan and Sara Quin are two singer/songwriters with impeccable acoustics, comfortable with exploring social frustrations without wallowing in despair. They snarl on tracks like "Freedom" and "More for Me"; "Superstar," an excellent album standout, pounces with club/dance backdrops. Tegan and Sara are on the verge of their twenties and unconcerned with teen angst. They exude a well-crafted sound and savory lyrics for being so young. Not Good

The only song that was any good on this CD was "The First." There was nothing artistic about any of the other songs. Also, the lyrics on the other songs were really bad.

    A Great Album

After having seen them live at school I had to go out and get this album, I've been listening to it ever since. Just an overall great CD.

    a great album

Despite comparisons to Ani DiFranco, Tegan & Sara are completely unique. Both playing fierce acoustic guitars and singing lyrics that are young and hip yet wise beyond their years, This Business of Art makes for a very fullfilling album and a great start for Tegan & Sara. I definitely recommend it!

    !!!!

I would reccomend highly this CD. Tegan and Sarah have a rather intense, pounding, yet stripped down acoustic style reminiscent of early Indigo Girls. You cannot go wrong with this one.

The Way Music Was Meant To Be

I had bought this album based on hearing one song and I havn't stoped playing it since i got it. In the pop/rock generations of today this is a refreshing album for a change. These girls have something unexplainable going on in their music that is well worth listening to.
