    A Fantastic Thriller

THIS ENDLESS NIGHT is a thrill ride from start to finish, filled with shocks and surprises that will keep you turning the pages. While the plot moves like lightning, it's amazing how rich the book is in description and detail, and what an emotional punch it carries. Jenny DeSoto is a feisty, intelligent yet vulnerable heroine. Because she's working on her master's thesis on the voodoo-like religion Santeria, her retired cop father's sexy former New York Police Department partner asks her to help solve an occult crime. The grave of a monstrous serial killer has been disinterred, and his skull has been stolen. Jenny's theory that the culprit is a priest in "the dark side of Santeria" leads her on a terrifying quest that turns far more dangerous than she could have imagined. Threatened on all sides--from cops hostile to the Santeria community, the FBI, and the menacing and scary villain--Jenny must solve a series of brutal murders before it destroys her own family. I recently discovered the books of Steve Neil Johnson, and they're all terrific.
