About the Author

About the Author

Jessica Bennett has had a passion for education since she was seven years old. When her siblings would see her with papers and pencils, they immediately knew it was time to play pretend school.

This inspired her to earn a bachelor’s degree in Early and Middle Childhood Studies from The Ohio State University, a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Grand Canyon University, and a second master’s degree in Special Education.

Jessica is not just a passionate educator but also a dedicated wife and mother of 4 energetic children, a set of pre-school twins, a middle schooler, and a high schooler.

When her twin son Jeremiah was diagnosed with autism, she knew her life's work had expanded. Jeremiah inspired her to begin writing and illustrating books dedicated to making a change in the world. Jessica hopes that all her books bring awareness, acceptance and understanding of each person’s individual uniqueness.
