Meet the Author

Richard Johnson is the award-winning author of In Apprehension, How Like a God (Gold Award: Writers of the Future 2011) and Taking the High Road (Grand Prize: Jim Baen Memorial Writing Contest 2012). His first short story, A Friend in Need ,was published online at Alienskinmag.com and podcast on the Hugo Award winning Starship Sofa.


Born in Botswana and raised in England he now lives in Melbourne, Australia where he works as a structural engineer and writer.

    Fun but too much language for me, and not just farm swears.

    Wish it was longer

    The size hinders this. I thought it was very interesting but way too short! Would love to read more.
