Overview

It's a terrible thing loneliness is.

Tawne Delaney: A woman filled with the hatred of herself and what she's not... Never touched by a man, never loved, until one night in the woods... Tawne watches as a woman's body is crammed into a drain pipe... A crooked and broken beast beckons to Tawne and passes on his gift to her. Is it the ultimate power or the cruelest joke?

Arcan Tyler: A man tormented by the memories of an insane mother and haunted by the ghosts of a dozen women not yet dead... Struggling with the rage of three beasts, controlled, for now...

Once friends and co-workers, Tawne and Arcan now unite as lovers... Along with each other's body, they share each other's secrets: Arcan, his beasts; Tawne, her power... Is it the love of dreams or the sheer terror of a nightmare come to life?

Whoever said undeath was "The Nightmare Beautiful" was a lying son-of-a-bitch.

Editorial Reviews

Lisa DuMond
This Symbiotic Fascination is chock full of gore, sadism, murder, and rough sex. Horror doesn't come any more hardcore than this. I would venture to say that even some horror fans who think they like it uncensored and explicit will blanch at some of the scenes in this little jaunt into the darkest side.

An Effective Vomitorium of Scares and Shocks!

The most effective horror novel I've read since Robert McCammon's 'Swan Song.' Outrageous, disgustingly humorous, melancholy, thought-provoking and repulsive...sometimes all-at-once and in the same sentence. And Charlee Jacobs' wordplay is fascinating...she's one of very few authors that would have the nerve to use terms like 'Revlon erection.' lol. HORROR FANS: THIS ONE IS NOT TO BE MISSED!!!

A LITTLE STRANGE, BUT REALLY GOOD

I picked this book up and read it in about 2 weeks. It was a little strange, but it had a storyline that kept my attention until the very end! Unlike any book I have ever read.
