    A bit disappointing

Don't get me wrong, I love Michael Ball. I own all his albums. But I found a few of the tracks on this one to be a bit weak, and the worthwhile ones are on other albums. If you're completing a collection, this might be an album to add, but if this is your first exposure to Ball, opt for something more tried and true, like "Musicals" or "The Very Best of Michael Ball."

    Nobody Does It Better

What a voice! Michael puts his heart and soul into each song he sings. Every song on this album is wonderful. He has the ability to bring out a full range of emotions from the listener. You can hear the anger and frustration in ''Never Coming Back'', and the need in ''The Dimming of the Day''. Michael's rendition of ''The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face'' was so sensual and moving it brought tears to my eyes. And the opening strains of the sweet song ''Just When'' never fails to bring a smile to my face. I guarantee you will not be disappointed by this album or Michael's incredible talent.

Michael Ball's voice sounds better than ever. For those of you who aren't familiar with him, now's the time to get with it! He does Garth Brook's music better than Garth does; or so says my husband, who is a Garth fan.
