Overview

Alana Waverly is a professional woman victimized by a failing economy. Her relationships with men have failed just as much as her attempts at finding gainful employment.

Dylan Clayburn is drawn to the beauty that lives in his apartment building. Every time their paths cross, he is attracted to her like a moth to a flame despite her indifference. Dylan is a man who loves a challenge and uses his charms to slowly chip away her hard exterior. When Alana is injured in a terrible accident, rising from the ashes isn't easy and neither is her long journey along the road to self-discovery.

The end result proves awe inspiring as Dylan never gives up on showing her the wonderful possibility of not just believing in love, but embracing it passionately as well.

ROMANCE JUNKIES ~BLUE RIBBON RATING 5.0

A poignant story, THIS TOO SHALL PASS, the latest novel by talented author, Cynthia Roberts, is a touching, emotion-packed contemporary romance that reminds us not to take life for granted. Each chapter begins with a few words of wisdom about life and living it to the fullest. At times, it will bring a smile to your face and at other times, tears will appear, as you find yourself empathizing with Alana and the struggles she goes through. You also cannot help but love Dylan who sticks with her through thick and thin. Ms. Roberts brings these complex characters to life right before your eyes until it almost seems as if Dylan and Alana are people you know. With creativity, passion and emotion, Ms. Roberts fills her story with life's hardships and blessings, beautifully clever dialogue, vulnerable characters with realistic problems, a real life plot, romance and true love, making this moving story one you will want to read and then read again. It will remind you of how truly fortunate you are and how important it is to make the most of the limited time you have here on Earth. I highly recommend this book and look forward to see what Ms. Roberts comes up with next.

IND'TALE MAGAZINE RATING

This Too Shall Pass is a very emotional and fitting novel for today's economic times. Cynthia Roberts pens masterful love scenes, ones that are rich and beautiful but not graphic. The love and support from Dylan and Alana's family will touch even the most cynical hearts and may even leave one closing the book in tears!

Meet the Author

My love of reading romance fiction goes back to those early years when I was raising a young family. It wasn't until much later in life I actually took up the pen to write. I wish I could have gotten to this point in my career much sooner rather than later but, life simply got in the way far too many times. I know because of those detours I have become a more passionate and expressive writer because I can draw upon those painful moments in my past when I need to create the kind of raw human emotion I want my readership to feel. My wish is that my readers walk away with not just an entertaining read but the importance in knowing, "Without imagination & dreams, we lose the excitement of wonderful possibilities."
