Meet the Author

Thomas Legge (1535-1607) was Master of Gonville-Caius College, Cambridge, from 1573 until his death, and twice served as Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge.
The Editor: Dana F. Sutton is Professor of Classics at the University of California, Irvine, and has been Chair of the Department of Classics since 1986. He is the author of numerous works on classical drama, including Seneca on the Stage (1986).
