Editorial Reviews

A Reviewer
An adventure that benefits greatly from Saberhagen’s narrative skill as the various strands leapfrog forward, keeping the reader off balance but constantly intrigued.
A Customer
Thorn was one of the eariler Dracula books and the first that dwelled extensively in two times. Half of Thorn tells the story of Dracula's life, before he became undead and provides an accurate (within reason) portrayal of the period. The other half is set in the present day southwest and brings in the characters developed in the 14-15th century.
Karen Ferrand Carroll
As I closed the cover of this book I loved the man I came to know. Not a soul-less monster but a man whose life and love was immortal. A person full of fire and passion for life, art and the wonder of the world around us. It makes one wonder, what could humankind learn in several lifetimes and then ask why haven't we.
Bob E. Bad Bob
I love a good alternative Dracula, and this is as good as any. Saberhagen really makes Dracula come alive (as it were).

Again a masterful blend of stories and time.

Two stories, two centuries. Yet one story in time. Excellently done.
