Thoth: Architect of the Universeby Ralph Ellis
The megalithic monuments of the world, including Stonehenge and the Great Pyramid, can be understood as maps of the Earth. While researching the metrology of the megalithic monuments of Britain and Egypt, the author made this important and previously unnoticed observation. Many of these 'maps' include within their structure the latitudes of specific topographical features on the surface of the Earth. Some specific discoveries: * The Avebury Henge is a map of the Earth. * Stonehenge is a map of the orbital motions of the Earth. * The Great Pyramid is a map of the continents * The Imperial Measurement System is based on the Great Pyramid, as the mile measures 1760 yards, the pyramid, 1760 cubits. The architect of these monuments was surely making maps, the only thing now to be found is where the X marks the spot.
