I really like that the author takes us on a journey of he experience of life in the form of song and poetry. There is a depth and variety of meaning in poetic lines that would be difficult to duplicate in ordinary prose. Reading this book touched me at the root of where my feelings are. It is rare to see this kind of presentation. Also, I was really impressed with the author's partner's songs in Part 3 of the book. These songs, in very simple and direct poetic form speak of a young girls looking out at the adventure of life.
    A very refreshing read!

A deeply inside view of how thoughts become verse and song in a person's life over time. This collection of songs/poems reveals stages that we all pass through from youth to seniors. From the writings in this book we are introduced to a unique dimension of understanding. This book, in a sense, contains everyone's potential experience of life.
