Meet the Author

Here is where a writer is supposed to tell you all about the exciting things he's done. How he's wrestled crocodiles in Tanzania, bounced drunks in an Amsterdam brothel, smuggled guns to Cuba and sat in as drummer for the Who in Tokyo. Well, I've never done any of that, but hey, nobody's perfect.

My life is much like yours. I'm just another soul shoe horned into a meat puppet biding my time until I return to the one.

These stories are just dreams I lived. If I've done my job even passably well, then you may live them, too.

    Truth or Lies? You decide

Can we trust the 'truths' we've been taught? Can we believe the comforting pablum we're fed on Fox and NPR? Is there really someone in charge looking out for our best interests in America? Or might it all be just deception? If this list of lies doesn't get you googling to find out your own answers then you must be brain dead.

    Amazing!

I had no.ida that I was cynical. I'll be interested in hearing how many agree with these statements? And if we are so cynical we do about it anyway!

    A disturbing list...

We all like to believe "white lies" right? Lies that feel good, even if they're lies... Lies that hide ugly truths... Well, get ready to have every single white lie stripped from you. It's not a fun book to read, but if you prefer truth to lies, you need to read it.

Just a little list... that may change your perceptions of reality

Maybe you have a little niggling doubt in the back of your brain about the stuff you think you know? Maybe you've wondered if we're always told the whole and entire truth by government and the corporations that own it? Then you need to read this. It will give you ideas for where to target your research and you and the web can do the rest.

    Dreadful

I gave it a star because it was the lowest mark i could give....rambling thought. No real direction. Considerable waste of time....could not, would not recommend to anyone....about the same as reading someone's laundry list. I'm sure it means something to the person making the list, but no one else really cares

Free and worth every penny of it.

At least it lives up to its promise to include something to offend every ideology. So there's that. In every other respect, a pointless, rambling document that offers nothing new, takes no specific position, and offers no evidence. Therefore, a waste of time.

    Laughable...at best

One of the lies (the last on page 58) states, "Anyone can write a book worth reading". This little gripe list proves that with deft efficiency.

Were Mr. St.John an author of any merit, he might have provided some insight, or at least offered up his own views. Instead, he picks a bunch of semi-controversial statements to jot down and has the audacity to call himself an "author". This is yet another poster-child for the death of literature at the hands of self-publishing.

    Not worth it

This was a dumb idea; it's just a list of ideas. No paragraphs or anything. Wasted my money on this one

Descent read. Since it's free ... might as well!

Good point's! Repeats himself a couple times and doesn't cover everything but still alright.
