Andrea Boeshaar in her new book, "Threads of Faith" Book Two in the Fabric of Time series published by Realms brings us into the life of Julianna Wayland in 1877.

From the back cover: Can Julianna and Daniel start a new life in a new country?
Julianna Wayland is running for her life! She hides in a crate on London's dock, only to be loaded onto a ship bound for America. During the voyage she meets Captain Daniel Sundberg, and by the time they reach New York's harbor, she is certain she's in love with him. The only problem is, Daniel has plans for himself--plans that don't include her.

As Julianna struggles to find her way in a new world, will trouble from her past derail the life she is looking for?

I enjoy stories that bring about seemingly chance encounters when they are really divine orchestrations of God. In an effort to escape the unwanted advances of her young master she runs and hides in an empty crate on the docks, which, of course, is now thought full, nailed shut and loaded on a ship bound for America. She is discovered, again, of course, but due to time constraints Captain Sundberg cannot stop somewhere and let her off so she has to voyage to America where she knows no one. Now it is a question of what will Julianna do in America and will the romance between her and Daniel actually work? I like the way Ms. Boeshaar writes. She is an accomplished author who knows how to deliver true to life dialog and create characters that you fall in love with. The love story between Julianna and Daniel is a lot of fun and this book is filled with plenty of action to keep you turning the pages. This is an excellent read! I recommend it.

Threads of Faith by Andrea Boeshaar is a mixture of adventure and romance. Julianna Wayland is a young housemaid in 1877 London who is on the run. When the young master has designs for her, she flees, hiding in a crate on the docks. Before she can cry out, a lid is nailed to her hideaway and she gets loaded into the hold of a ship.

Captain Daniel Sundberg doesn't take kindly to stowaways, intended or accidental. But with a crew of all men, he feels obligated to protect the young miss. He needs to keep on schedule to sail to America, and doesn't have time to stop at a port to drop off Julianna.

Once they reach America he finds the desire to continue to provide for her confusing, but makes plans for her to help his mother with the family farm. As the couple journey they both are challenged to a deeper faith in God.

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and am excited to find a new historical Christian writer.

Another great book by Andrea Boeshaar. This is the second book in this series and just as good as the first. I've read both, and you don't need to read the first to enjoy this one, but treat yourself and do!
This story starts in 1877 and in England. We have a young girl not twenty yet running for her life. Julianna ends up on a ship! She hid in a crate to get away from one of her attackers, and the crate is sealed with her in it.
This is a story of finding ones values. It seems that Captain Daniel Sundberg, has chosen wealth over family.
The author brings to life the street people of England, can't even imagine! Julianna goes from there to having someone dress her! Wow! What a change and can just picture her even having to put up with it. Can see how she would love the new dresses, compared to what she previously had. She had fled with one dress on her back, her maid's outfit.
There are sparks of romance, but Daniel has chosen to have more wealth and marry a Countess! He brings Julianna to his parents...she is to help on their farm. Can't you just picture that? She has never really even been to the Country.
We learn a great deal about Daniel's chosen family compared to his own family. Only one person can heal it all...God!
Once you start reading this delightful book, you will not be able to put it down.

I received this book through Charisma House Book Reviews, and was not required to give a positive review.

    Threads of Faith

I did not read the first book in this series so I just had to imagine how this series started. This book starts with Julianna Wayland running for her life, so she hides inside a crate on a London dock and was loaded onto a ship that was headed for America. She did not plan for this to happen but she was going to America whether she wanted to or not. She was stowaway and soon was found but she did not know it until two days later when she came too in the present of a doctor in the sick bay. She was hurt much worse that the captain though when he found her. The doctor assured her that she had not been treated unlady like but that he had to undress her so that he could check her over.
Who had done this to Julianna in London and what was she running from? How deep was her injures and how long will it take her to heal?

After she felt better and was able to get up and around on the ship she begin to fall for Captain Daniel Sundberg and hard. What will happed to her when she reached America and where will she go and what will she do for a living.

Thanks so much to Charisma Media for this book and I was not required to do a possible review.
