TOUGH THE FIRST HALF OF THE BOOK! But, stay with it, because the 2nd half if well worth the journey. I can't tell you when I have disliked a 'h' more than I did Aislinn. MY OH MY, it was so hard to get to the 2nd half of the book. I won't go into the premise of the story, as it has been told, but when people write that their heart ached over something that happens in a book, it was truly an understatement how I felt for our H /Garrett. He is such a wonderful Hero, that I couldn't stand how I he was treated.by our heroine. There is mild description of love making, it isn't vulgar, but just enough feeling, that you knew how Garrett felt. There are a lot of twists, suspense, intrigue and many surprises. Please stick with this book, because the last half is so worth it. There is a Epilogue 4 months in the future - I am such a sucker for Epilogues!!! (ljb)

This is my first book by Ms. Coddington. It is 274 pages times about 3. I thought i would like this story but changed my mind as i read. The lead male was made a wimp to an illiterate female! The Lord of the castle was not given battles or any credit to accomplish anything: this honor went to an illiterate female. The romance was good but too much time in between. I don't reccommend this book to readers who truly love romance novels. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
