What a thought-provoking look at the life of Jesus as told by His mother. The author does an amazing job of weaving biblical history with fiction to vividly portray the mother of Jesus and her memories of her Son's life. I especially love the way she depicts both the humanity and divinity of Jesus, and the way Mary related to both of these in her Son. Although a few of the fictional details abiut Mary are not necessarily what I believe as a Roman Catholic, this in no way detracts from the impact of the story. Was this review helpful? A great book for any religion. While it is a religous story it is not heavy in religion. It is a story of a mother and the life of her child. It vacilates between the past and the time in which things are happening. An easy read. A book I would recommend. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
