Overview

With their major-label debut, Three Dollar Bill Y'All, Limp Bizkit quickly rose to the top of the alt-metal subgenre known as "rapcore." Part of the reason the band stood out from their peers was their kinetic, frenzied energy. They might not have many original ideas -- they are largely an outgrowth of Korn, Faith No More, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers -- but they do the sound well. They have a powerful rhythm section and memorable hooks, most of which make up for the uneven songwriting. Then again, you're not looking for perfection on a debut -- you're looking for a promising sound, and on that front, Limp Bizkit deliver. [Three Dollar Bill Y'all was issued in a "clean" version with all profanity removed.]

I love Limp Bizkit! The deep, dramatic soul searching rock of this c.d. makes me feel as if I'm understood. But, I must say, I think Significant Other, their newer c.d., is soooooo much better!!! I love the more mellow vibe on this new c.d. But, I also think it tells you more about what other than anger, is inside their souls. Hurt, pain, and joy. it's all in here.

Okay, I must say that I'm one of the biggest fans of Limp, and anything they say, sing, or do is cool with me! The C.D. is cool, but you must listen to Significant Other and read their biography before you can really judge them or their music. You also must know what Fred Durst looks like, he's such a hottie! I love the remake of George Michael's 'Faith', that's why I bought the C.D. in the first place, but 'Stuck' is definetley awesome, too.

I have all three of Limp Bizkit's albums and i think this one is the best.Significant Other and Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water are good CDs but its just not the same as this one.In Three Dollar Bill Yall we get the more hardcore Limp Bizkit and I think Counterfeit is better than My Way

This CD is great. It makes you think about all the stuff that you do. They talk about the activities teen-agers do.i really like the beats they be throwin my way. I ve heard other bands that have a dj and LB just throws it the best.I like this cd a lot. The songs just flow together and i want to keep listening all day and night. When I first got this cd i listened to it for a month straight and never got tired of it. For anybody who is looking for a good cd to listen to this is the one. If you like rock you will like Three Dollar Bill, Y'all.

this album is the best of them all!! this one is the best because it has the most metal out of all of them. pollution, faith, stuck, counterfeit, sour, & leech all rok a whole lott!! the dj lethal scratch solo in faith is awesome, dj lethal is my absolute number 1 favorite dj & idol. fred is number 1 4 coolist human on earth, & wes borland i miss (cuz mike smith sux). i know it's funny that i'm makin a review of a 1997 album in 2003 but as soon as i started luvin it, i had 2 do this. results may vary sux cuz mike ain't got an idea about how bad he is, buy all limp albumz except results may vary.
