I enjoyed reading this book from cover to cover, from Lucien's bedding of Aveline, to marrying her after discovering his child, Chloe, and in the end, taking tragedy to discover how they really feel. I'm a sucker for happy endings. Read this book.

Set in 1810, England. The storyline is not an original but still good. I was a little teary eyed towards the end, you can't but help love little Chloe.I enjoyed it very much, didn't want to put it down. Very passionate and sensual at times.
