To the blushin innocents beware of the forbidden

Awesome! This book is so hot and will definetly is a keeper. And I would also liked to add that warning this is erotica, this aint your mommas flowery romance novels. So screw off if you dont like you romance with an edge of raw sex or the forbidden. But I will say its not cool to give books a bad review just because you arent comfortable with this materal. So you blushin nah sayers stay away. Lovin these heated stories...

** spoiler alert ** Overall, all 4 novellas were well-written and erotic; some I enjoyed more than others. All are stories of childhood friends who get their HEA after long estrangements - the best kind of story for me. I love when characters have unresolved history, especially in a short when there arent enough pages to make instant-love plausible.

Lauren Dane can do no wrong (IMHO) and I was captivated by Dirty/Bad/Wrong as I am with all of her books...I always enjoy being taken back to Petal, GA. The characters had depth and complemented each other well. I would enjoy a full-length book of Angelo, Luca, and Ava and how they adjust to and manage their relationship.

Megan Hart's Just One Night was probably my fave of this anthology. Although, not a menage story in the typical sense, it was believable and well-rounded/developed for me. Surprisingly, it was the least erotic of the 4 stories (for me). The sex scenes were hot but more in a sweet way than kinky way. I would have liked a more fleshed out ending though.

Emma Holly's Flipping for Chelsea unfortunately was my least fave of the shorts. I like menage stories as much as the next -- brothers or cousins sharing a woman doesnt bother me but I just couldnt wrap my head around 2 adoptive brothers being in a MMF menage. I tried to keep telling myself that they werent related by blood but I just couldnt get past them referring to the same two people as "mom and dad" and calling each other "bro" during the sex scenes. I couldnt suspend my belief that far to fully enjoy this novella.

Bethany Kane's On the Job was an erotic story that I wished could have been longer to develop the characters further. Madeline and Walker were combustible together but I was left wanting more from this story besides the steamy sex. I found Madeline to be a brat and Walker was cold and vindictive; the whole submission scene made me cringe just a bit.
