This was a novella that was an enjoyable read although I didn’t enjoy it quite as much as Hold Me, the first book in the series. Once again with very little to go on one of the Caldwell sisters, this time Margo, went off on a wild goose chase looking for her presumed dead father Zach so that their mother’s estate could be settled and he could share in their inheritance. This time the destination was the US Virgin Islands. There she met a native, Adrian, who helps her locate her dad but not without them first getting captured, shot at, receive gunshot wounds along with a harried boat ride to get them to safety before the boat sinks. Margo finds out ultimately that the man she finds isn’t her dad and has to leave Adrian behind in the hospital to recover from his gunshot wound when she needs to return to New Mexico because her vacation time is up. Margo had no knowledge that Adrian would follow her back home and their romance would continue. This was a nice and unexpected twist. I look forward to the Caldwell’s continued adventures in book three in the series and wonder if Zach will be found in Afghanistan where Allison has gone on the lead she was given.
Favorite Quote: At the sound of a motor, Margo jerked to standing. Zach and his gun-toting goons had boardered a speedboat and were closing in on her fast.
There was no way she could get out of this.
Desperate, she swung down into the main cabin and searched for a weapon. If Bill had been gunrunning, she’d bet he hadn’t done so unarmed. She opened a couple of cabinets.

I just finished Thrill Me and couldn't put it down. This is the 2nd book in the series, the 1st Hold Me also captivated me. I can't wait for the 3rd book in the series which comes out next month to see which Zach Caldwell is the real one.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
