Barnes & Nobles ripped me off. I cannot open the content. I contacted B&N online chat and they cut me off. I called, they gave me a runaround. I sent them email, they told me to try this and that and finally stopped responding. Do not buy from B&N

    Mystery readers bonus!

I'm hooked. The three I've read so far were great! Kudos to James Scott Bell and the other authors for this mystery library find! I've read several of James's books, including his novels and writing craft books and look forward to more.

    On Blade's Edge
Sholes and Moore have done it again. This thriller can't be beat. I felt like I was on a roller coaster going faster and faster. Couldn't put it down. I recommend this book to any adult reader who loves fast-paced thrillers and mysteries.

THE BLADE, by Lynn Sholes and Joe Moore, is a real nail-biter that grabbed me from the start and didn't let me go until the end - with several jaw-dropping twists, turns and shockers in between! OSI agent Maxine Decker is brought out of hiding when she is threatened by a nasty international fugitive who blames her for the death of his brother and threatens someone near and dear to her. Maxine's partner and ex-husband Kenny Gates gets involved, and the riveting story takes us from Iraq to a remote cabin in the Colorado mountains, to Maryland, to old Nazi caves in Austria, to Cuba, and finally to Las Vegas, where millions of innocent lives are threatened if Maxine and Kenny don't bow to the wishes of the terrorist - and the clock is ticking! The two main characters are very likeable, and Sholes and Moore introduce us to several other fascinating characters, including oddball, delusional televangelist Hershel Applewhite. An absorbing read that kept me turning the pages!

I can’t wait to read the other 7 novels in this boxed set!
