Overview

Suzy’s a control freak and has her life mapped out - work hard, find a man with a stable job, and live happily ever after. She’s content with the status quo, but her plan comes to a screeching halt when he enters her life and turns it upside down.

City gave up on love when his heart was crushed in college, preferring to be the typical bachelor. He spends his nights hopping from one bed to another and his days working at his family tattoo shop, Inked. A chance encounter on a dark road makes him question what he had sworn off forever – a relationship.

A night of passion and lust causes them to question everything. Is City the knight in shining armor to the damsel in distress? Can their relationship survive when a fantasy falls apart and a secret comes out that changes everything?

This is the first book in the Men of Inked Series.

First of all this book is a BAD knockoff of another author's series! This same plot has already been written by another author who is actually on the fourth book of her series. It is so wrong to steal someone Else's work I do not know how someone can live with doing that to another person. Here is a few of the many similarities in the series. 1) A family of tattooed brother's who work in their families tattoo parlor. 2) The first brother fall's for the bookworm 3) The first brother just so happens to have a piercing on his private part and a nipple piercing. 4) His High School Sweetheart dies the only girl he every loved which causes him to be a bed hopper 5) He hides from the girl that he is actually rich because his family inherited money from their family in Italy. 6) Both Girls can't dance 7) The other series is called Men of____ These are just a few of the similarities. And let me remind you that The other author's first book come out in 2013. So as you can see just the similarities I have listed here is enough for me to say on good faith that this story has been stolen from the other author. This is WRONG,WRONG,WRONG!!!!!! An author goes and puts their whole heart in working on a series to only have it stolen from someone else. You should be ashamed!!!!!

¿Throttle Me¿ is the story of Suzy, a twenty-something, math tea

“Throttle Me” is the story of Suzy, a twenty-something, math teacher, with a less than interesting love life and check list of prerequisites for a potential life partner. Even though she’s quite the control freak, she yearns and fantasizes about someday having the sexual experiences that she only reads about in erotica novels.
Suzy’s life changes, the moment her car breaks down on a dark, desolate road  and a tall, dark, handsome, tattoo-clad biker by the name of City, comes to her rescue, in more ways than one.
City, owner of Inked (a tattoo shop), is out for a ride on his Harley-Davidson Fat Boy, and to meet up with the guys at the local hole-in-a-wall bar, when he rides past a beautiful, blonde bombshell and damsel in distress on the side of the road. After a couple of sweet martinis and careful conversation, City surmised that Suzy was good girl, with a hidden, raw sexuality that he, not only wanted to explore, but also introduce her to.
Neither one of them was looking to fall in love in the process….
Once again, Chelle Bliss, has managed to “intrigue me” and “mesmerize me” with her writing.  From the moment that I began reading “Throttle Me” I could not put it down. I managed to read 75% of it in one sitting and the only reason why I didn't complete it at that time, was because I had to make myself put it down for the sake of sleep.
I knew from the teasers of “Throttle Me” that I was going to love me some City. And let me tell you, City, does not disappoint. He is the quintessential alpha male. He is bold, cocky, arrogant, handsome, long, thick, and satisfying with just the right amount of jealousy. He wants nothing but to please and to protect Suzy. He wants to mold her and dominate her at the same time. As much as City wants to pull out the lasciviousness that he knows Suzy possesses, he also can appreciate that she is a lady.  She’s soft. She’s sweet and she’s all his. I love the moments when he would reassure Suzy. He could see right through her and all of her insecurities and he knew just how to make her feel comfortable and at ease with herself. I loved when he called her Suzette. It’s so much sexier than Suzy.
There were parts of “Throttle Me” that just made me speak out loud to the characters. Mainly Suzy, she did nothing but get in her own way. Questioning the chemistry between her and City, attempting to go out with “Mr. Pickle”, and doubting that whether or not a relationship with him would ever last. Sometimes things just seemed to be too good to be true, and she had major doubts. When it came to City, he was not at all what she initially expected (from a relationship), but he proves to be all she ever wanted.
Suzy’s character originated in Chelle Bliss’ first novel, “Untangle Me”. In “Untangle Me”, Suzy is the best friend and roommate of Sophia. Sophia, and her fiancé Kayden, make a few cameos in “Throttle Me”. Having read both “Untangle Me” and “Kayden: The Past” (both of the Love At Last Series), it’s great to catch up with these two characters and there’s just enough mentioned about their bond to evoke interest in reading both books from that series. I am not sure if this was done intentionally, but it’s brilliant. THIS AND ALL OF CHELLE BLISS’ BOOKS ARE STAND ALONE NOVELS, but you get a better appreciation for the characters when you read all of the books.
I gave “Throttle Me” 5 (five) stars. I absolutely loved this book. Chelle’s characters with their insecurities, hang ups, situations, relationships are realistic and relatable. How many of us know a Suzy or are a Suzy?  How many of us of ladies yearn to be “sweet in the streets and whore between the sheets”? This book is for those who can relate or know about the monotony of the everyday, but then getting swept off of your feet, sexually, and romantically by a tenacious and audacious lover. THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU!

    Could have been awesome...

This could have been a great book, start to a series... but author could not deliver. The girl becomes annoying and the guy has to keep saving her from almost rapes, 3 times in 260 pgs! It seemed like the author got stuck with where to take the characters so she just kept repeating scenarios and charact thiughts and ideas. Totally bummed by this purchase.

    My Review:

5.0 Star Review - Throttle Me

If you have read Chelle's Love At Last Series you have already met Suzy.

Suzy knows what she wants out of life. A (dare I say it?) boring man with a stable job. One that does not really bring out her wild side.

City is s*x on a stick. Tattoos, piercings and a motorcycle. You know total bad boy. Exactly what Suzy needs to get her wild side to come out and play.

He is as far from what Suzy is looking for as you can get. But can she stay away from him? No freaking way. Can they make it work? You will have to grab the book and find out.

Chelle has a wicked sense of humor that you can hear coming across the pages. Love her writing style and so happy she pulled Kayden and Sophia.

Throttle Me by Chelle Bliss Joey & Suzy I've been readi

    Throttle Me by Chelle Bliss

    Joey & Suzy

I've been reading bits and pieces of this story for months... while Chelle rationed those bits and pieces out, I bit my nails,
stomped my feet, and did everything short of beg for more!!! This enticing tale will lift your spirits, bring you to your knees, and
make you gasp for more air than I fear your lungs can handle! This is a love story, but more importantly, it's a journey of self discovery,
acceptance, and peace. Oh yeah, and some uber hot sex scenes you'll be re-reading more times than you can count!!! Well,
maybe that was just me... lol!!!

    I. Am. Hooked! Joey, a.k.a. City was everything I wanted and needed. A perfect alpha male in so many ways. He's enormous, he's
talented, he's sexy, he's got tons of tattoos, and it has to be said, he rides a Harley and this in itself is enough to make my panties
burst into flames! I love the fact that he's one of those "what you see, is what you get" kind of guys. Although he harbors things about
himself and his past that only those closest to him know, he's pretty much still and open book! Unquestionably one of my favorite
     lead males characters!

Now, Suzy Q, well, she's so damn cute, you can't help but love her. She makes such a tremendous renovation within herself that by
the end of the book, I almost didn't recognize her! In a good way! Not that I didn't love the old Suzy, but the new Suzy, wowza.. I mean,
she really changed my perception of love and adoration. Sometimes what we thinks we want is not always what we need and I'm so
glad she took a chance on City. Her attempt at swearing had me rolling around on the floor laughing my butt off... I mean, holy hell...
"His dong!" - I'm laughing out loud just typing this s***!

Great supporting character cast in all of Joey's family. Boy oh boy, I'm thinking Italian for dinner tonight. And Chelle, I need those
recipes... I know you have 'em!!! Joey's Momma Mia is, well, she's perfect. The boss, but also the nurturing, caring voice of reason.
Everyone should have a Mom like her! I so can't wait to find out what happens with Michael. Just thinking about that fighter has me
salivating all over my keyboard! Of course seeing how Sophia and Kayden are faring warmed my heart and I was glad to see them
living the life they were meant to live.

Even though this was Joey and Suzy's book and I loved the climax, I still feel there is still more to their story and I'm hoping we'll see
that in the next "Men of Inked" book! There are too many highs and lows to mention, but the pacing is perfect and the dialogue flows
quite nicely taking you on a wild ride of love, laughter, and hot steamy sex! It's 260 (Kindle version) pages long and it was enough to
grab me by the short and curlys, slap a helmet on my head, and take me for the wildest ride I've been on this year. Chelle, creates the
right amount of tension leading to that remarkable climax. I love you Chelle Bliss!! You knocked it out of the park with this one!!

5 Stars cause 10 is not available!!!

This is an Amazing Must read.
Chelle Bliss is an author I have not read before. OMG what have I missed out on. There is a lot of books out there about bikers and tattoo's and once you've read one, some of them read a lot like the others. It takes someone special to write a book that stands out from the rest. And Chelle Bliss is that author.

I have read plenty of books about bikers and tattoos and I am sure like most people you have your favourite author for each particular genre. I have my favourite authors(mentioning no names) for particular genres that do it for me and who I hold high above any other genre of the same. I have added Chelle Bliss to that list of one of my favourite author's to read. I can't wait to read more of this Men of Inked series.

Girls, This book contains a Hot Alpha Man in the form of Joseph Gallo or City to his friends. This guy is so hot you just want to drink him in.

Suzy is a teacher and on her way home one night when her car breaks down in the middle of no where. She has no cell phone service and no way of knows which way is the right direction to head.

City is on his bike on his way to meet with friends in the local bar. When he spots someone broken down.

They both have baggage from the past, but will they be able to get past that.

I loved this book. It's amazing. I loved the pace it enthrals you from the very beginning. It is beautifully written. There is not one thing I didn't like or thought didn't fit. I love The characters.

I loved Suzy's character she is someone who you read about and can pick out someone you know who fits her character. She's strong, independent, but underneath she's vulnerable.

And City, well what can I say.... I hope that if I ever break down I have a City coming to my rescue. he's hot, sexy and an alpha.

Chelle, This book is outstanding. Its written perfectly. The characters are flawless. Its an exceptional must read. I cant wait for more.

    This book gets 5/5 stars

You need to add this to your "TBR" list.

Throttle Me by Chelle Bliss tells the story of a hot man on a motorcycle, City, who rescues the prim and proper but stranded Suzy on the side of the road. City brings her to a bar so she can call for help and, well we all know what can happen when you add a few drinks into the mix! Suzy may be proper and a control freak and never curse but her fantasies…they run wild! And tattooed, Harley riding, bad boy City definitely begins to fulfill those fantasies. As for City, let’s just say Suzy gets under his skin.

I enjoyed my first book by this author. I liked how she had the characters pushing each other out of their comfort zones so that each of them could then become a better fit as a couple. Throttle Me was a very HOT and STEAMY read! (One piece of advice: you might just want to choose a less public place to read this book than I did! A crowded waiting room-not the best place to read a book as HOT as this!)

Throttle Me is connected to Chelle Bliss’ Love at Last Series, however it is a completely new series and you do not have to read the Love at Last Series to enjoy this one!

I received a Complimentary Copy of Throttle Me from the author in exchange for my honest review.

This is the first installment in Chelle's new series and  I was looking forward to reading it.  This book had me at the cover but the story is AMAZING!!! Loved meeting City and Suzy!   Opposites attract and let's just say they had a very strong pull!

Suzy a/k/a Suzette (only when deemed necessary by City) was as straight laced as they come.  A no swearing, looking for Mr. Reliable, hard working school teacher until she meets City and he turns her world upside down.

"Laugh while you can, sweet girl." I murmurred against her lips.  "I'm going to make you scream all of those dirty words that you're too scared to say."
    ~ City

OMG!!! City a/k/a Joey, YES PLEASE!!!  A super sexy, Harley riding, tattoo artist who stops to help a stranded motorist....well that's what he wants us to think.   There were definitely more layers to City and I enjoyed uncovering each one.

It was nice to watch their story unfold.  Suzy was not accustomed to "family" and City had plenty of it.  We get a glimpse of all of the Gallo siblings and their personalities.  Their family banter was real and at times made me laugh.

Overall, this was a story about letting go...whether it was of an ideal, heartache or inhibitions....they covered it all and the journey was worth the ride.  So if you haven't had a chance to read anything by this author....go grab Throttle Me and get ready to become  a fan.  I know I will be looking forward to the next installment in the series, Hook Me.  This will be Michael's story.  Get Ready!

    HOLY FREAKIN WOW!!!

Absolutely fanfreakintastic! I truely loved this book. I laughed my ass off. I cryed like a baby and I fell head over heels in love with City and Suzy. Is that cliche enough for you? Lol. The chemistry, sexual and otherwise between City and Suzy is ff the charts hot! Suzy is this sweet, seemingly innocent , kind if shy, beautiful school teacher . And City is drop dead gorgeous, bike riding, tattooed, kind, considerate, I don't want to say bad boy but he kind of is, with a smokin hot rock hard body who owns a tattoo shop with his family. Suzy's car breaks down one night on the side of the road and lucky her, City drives up on his motorcycle and rescues her and the love affair begins. Suzy secretly has somewhat of a freaky side who has always wanted to get her freak on in bed and City is just the guy to help her out with that. Lol. And HOLY MOTHER OH HOTNESS does he help her with that. Make sure you have a fan or the AC on while reading this book. The author definitely has a way of describing her characters that I could actually picture real people in my mind. I highly recommend this book to everyone. And I can't wait for more.

Suzy and City take us on quite a ride in this book.  Suzy is a teacher and City is a tattoo artist.  They meet by accident and find themselves in unfamiliar territory.  Suzy has a list of the perfect guy for her and City has none of the attributes on that list, or so she thinks.  City has suffered the loss of a loved one so he has spent his most recent time with just hook-ups.  They find themselves falling for each other and Suzy finally gives up her OCD and realizes that her list might have been wrong.  Overall a decent book and am interested to read the next book in the series.  One of the better "biker" books I have read in a while.

Will read the next in the series!

There is an overall theme to this book. Do not judge something by appearances. City, Suzy, Bear, City's Family, etc... Everything and everyone was different underneath it all. I really enjoyed reading this book. It had an abrupt ending I thought, but other than that a good read.

This is the first book I had ever read by this author and wow do

This is the first book I had ever read by this author and wow does she have me hooked! Reading about wimpy women with strong dominant men just don't do it for me so reading Suzy and City's story was perfect! Suzy knew what she wanted, where she was going with her life. City did what he wanted and didn't care what people thought of him. Neither planned on the other, and when they do meet sparks immediately fly.

Suzy's car breaks down and like most people's luck her cell wont power up. She tries her best to catch the attention of someone on a motorcycle, and when it turned around she was really questioning her sanity. She was prepared for just about anything except City. He was drop dead sexy and she couldn't stop ogling him. And I have to say her inner monologue was the funniest I had read in a while. When City offers her a ride to the bar she was in for more than she bargained for.

City played the knight on the bike as well as he could. After seeing Suzy standing there in her naughty looking heels he knew he wanted to keep her as long as he could. At the bar she charmed him completely even as he had dirty pleasurable thoughts. The get to know you conversation is the best!!

When they leave the bar City asks one question "Where am I going?" and Suzy's answer changed both their lives.

Suzy's well thought out world just got a monkey wrench thrown in to it in the shape of City. And His easy life without any hangups just became complicated. The question is can they handle it and all the things that are about to come at them?

This book was so good, I am looking forward to the next book. Highly recommended series! Once you get into their heads you fall in love with both of them.
