    A Straightforward Horror Read

    At 10,000 words, you can easily read this in one sitting, especially with the main character's distinct voice. The conceits used in the story have all been done before, but it was a good combination, not just cliches.

    If you're looking for 99 cents worth of good, old-fashioned horror, this is it.
