Early Wednesday morning, writhing in pain, he called the doctor and we went into the emergency room. Although it took hours to diagnose the problem, when we arrived, he was already in renal failure and his blood pressure was dropping dangerously low. Finally at 5:00 at night he was rushed into surgery which confirmed the final diagnosis of "necrotizing fasciitis" (flesh-eating bacteria). Life as we had known it would never be the same.

    Captivating and Inspiring True Story

    Dramatic true story - I couldn't put it down! Based on the daily web page updates given by the author during her husband's battle with the 'flesh-eating bacteria' disease.
