    Excellent Book

Excellent writing! I started reading the book last night and had a hard time putting it down. I haven't had that happen to me in a long, long time! I am really enjoying the book! My son is 25 now but I believe that he struggled through some of the same emotions and had I read this book when he was in High School, I might have better understood what he was going through at that time. Really an eye opener! I'm only half way through the book and can't wait to start reading again. Dan Moore is very descriptive and really pulls you in...I feel like I was there and that I really know the characters. Go Dan! Can't wait for your next book!

Great insight into the intense interior life of teens

I was dragged right into the interior life of 4 high school friends surviving disaster - and as a mother of teens so appreciated the window the book provided into the intense emotions and deep loyalties of otherwise inscrutable teenagers. The dialogue is well done, and the characters still live in my heart. Dan, I am already breathlessly waiting for the next book. I hope this young author is with us for a long time to come.
