Siren Book Reviews - Nikki Reviewer
Through The Window is a book about second chances and redemption. The characters are so well crafted that I could just see myself there with them. This is a very well done contemporary romance, sprinkled with a bit of suspense.
The Romance Reviews - TOP PICK - Cozy Reader
TOP PICK - Wow, how can I forget the passion, the chemistry that was sizzling between Melanie and Jordan. They truly burnt up the sheets. I so enjoyed this book so much that I intend to look out for more books from W. Campbell.
Romancing the Book - Mel Reviewer
This is definitely a book worth reading over and over for I was in awe with Melanie and her courage to over come all the town talks and whispers. Wendy Campbell did a beautiful job in this book and definitely understand now about Melanie running away in the beginning. Filled with romance, passion, deceit and second chances anything is possible with love.

Melanie Quinn is back in Cedar Valley and she is determined to keep her chin up and not fall for the whisperings and back talk about her past. Yet she didn’t count on the strong sexual attraction towards Jordan Stone. She knew years ago he was the one for her but her father ruined any hope of happily ever afters in her life. Jordan is now a man full of demons in him that he needs to overcome and Melanie is the woman for him.

This is definitely a book worth reading over and over for I was in awe with Melanie and her courage to over come all the town talks and whispers. Jordan definitely a strong brooding man but with Melanie anything is possible including falling in love again. Wendy Campbell did a beautiful job in this book and definitely understand now about Melanie running away in the beginning. Filled with romance, passion, deceit and second chances anything is possible with love.

Authentic, complex and with a small town feel

As a child, I decided, at least for a time, that I wanted to grow up and marry a fireman. This story brought that feeling back with a rush. Well done, Ms. Campbell. The story is complex and the stakes are high. The technical portions felt well researched and authentic. Melanie's jerk of a father had me clenching my fists, wanting to deck him. As well, the relationship between Jordan and Melanie was fraught with misunderstandings and secrets and sizzling attraction. The love scene felt like a fantasy embedded in another fantasy. :) So all in all, I found myself involved in the story from start to finish. I generally read shorter stories, so wasn't sure I'd like this longer one, but it got and held my attention. I definitely recommend it.
